KHAP : A HARIANVI DIKHAT

The Ruling 'Khap' Government of Haryana is always in midst of controversy in recent time with its actions and subsequent reactions from all corner and walks of life through out the country as a whole. First it came into limelight when a lady IPS was transferred because she put the infamous minister on hold over telephone for 58 seconds. The officer was doing her duty honestly and religiously but the syndicate of liquor distributors who were functioning under the comfortable umbrella and blessing hand of said minister wanted to shift her because she created inconvenience to them. That chapter was presented in national media by Arnab motormouth Goswami in his own way  without any result or change in her posting that was defined by Hariyana Government as routine transfer of IPS cadre.

Second fuhrer in nation media came in February 2016, when on infamous 22nd February 2016 alone mass gang rape of  all women travelers from Delhi and NCR held at a place named Murthal in Haryana. All women were dragged out of their cars by unruly mob during wee hours on 22nd February and gang raped on the paddy field nearby. Although eyewitness from media and others recovered ladies trousers and lingerie scattered around the paddy field spread over both sides of national highway, the Khap Government with its all machinery vehemently denied the allegations and stated that no such heinous crime had occurred in Murthal and they tried to stop the investigation with tooth and nail for keeping honour of the state. Ridiculous!
But due to public pressure and also from media, they were compelled to open an investigation committee headed by one women senior official and reports started coming in. A lady from Delhi reported to the committee that she was victim of rape on that dreaded night. The Khap Government made an eye wash on the subject and stated that her rape was within her family due to a family dispute and thus they washed their hands off.

Next is the 'Gurugram' episode where famous and known 'Gurgoan' in the entire globe as 'California of India'  has been changed as ' Gurugram'. The explanation towards such change of name is given by Khap Government is not at all satisfactory. They stated that Dronacharya , the GURU of both Pandavas and Kauravas in Mahabharata taught the art of warfare to his disciples in this place and so Gram(village) of Guru is named as Gurugram. Although we all know that  Dronacharya was not a good teacher at all . He was partial to Arjuna ahead of all other pupils and took away the thumb of Ekalavya to pave the path of Arjuna to become the best. To commemorate a place in his name is not at all a wise decision.
Now the most recent addition in Khap dikhat is to ban the short skirt for ladies. Timing of  the restaurants and bars were reduced from 2 am to 12 midnight and order has been passed to bar owners to not allow any women to enter with short skirts or any other dress that is capable to seduce and Sedition Act will be applied on them. In this context, how a place like California of India will function smoothly with its night life where dozen and dozen of foreign business persons visits regularly. The economic uplift of the place will face upheavals and the state will go back few steps.

The state under the BJP led Government has already suffered a loss of at least 20000 crore due to recent public outburst during February followed by a pogrom. So, the economy is already in back foot.It may take decade  for Haryana to get back its position. It depends on the right mindset of the Government thereat.

However, till the mindset of the government do not change the rule of 'KHAP' rules !

A KASHMIRI DREAM

The dream of Kashmir had shattered in the year 1948.The historical fact is known to almost all. The last sovereign king of Kashmir, Hari Singh was compelled to vote for accession of his kingdom with republic of India when newly born Pakistan attacked Kashmir. The rest is only blunders. I will say it is Nehruvian blunder instead of Himalayan blunder and till today the country is paying for this.Under intervention of UN a third of our land has been permanently occupied by Pakistan which we named as POK ( PAK occupied Kashmir) and another portion has been occupied by China.

Under this imbroglio, the real battle for general Kashmiri people began. The prime minister of  erstwhile king Hari Singh, Mr Shiekh Abdallah became the head of Kashmir and the Article 370 of the constitution was applied in the region. Mr Shiekh Abdallah became Sadar e riasat, the synonym of chief minister and Kashmir became an alien land within the country for rest of fellow countrymen.

Kashmir has majority of Mohammedans  as well as minority  Hindu pundits lived like brothers since days of immortals and lacking all activities other than tourism made life in this hilly state hard. After 1953 practically no developmental work happened here and till date few agro based small industries, silk and cocoons and one or two cement industries came up in a small way. These are obviously insufficient to cater the employment needs of its population. Few educational institutions and one medical college are all that given by government of India before washing their hands off. Moreover, intruder from other side of divided Kashmir, under the governance of Pakistan always being a threat to the people of this state. In POK the life of people are so bad and under distress that many of them tried to enter Indian part hoping for a better life and economic gain. This led to continuous dispute between the Line of Control (LOC) of both countries and Pakistan, out of its perennial greed  for Kashmir started proxy /shadow war on the LOC with an intention of internationalizing the issue.

Under this situation the country had fought total war against Pakistan in 1965 and another in eastern sector in 1971 which led to humiliating defeat for Pakistan. But, they never stopped sending their intruder/agents at this side to destabilize the harmony of people at Kashmir valley. That resulted the 1989 pogrom among its own people and a communal clash between Hindu pundits and   Mohammedan which led minority pundits to flee from Kashmir valley and shift permanently at Hindu dominated Jammu.
The inferno that started in 1989 has not doused till date and Kashmir became a political game for many. Meanwhile another shadow war we had with Pakistan in 1999 and problem grew wider. Problem of Kashmir is not a political problem. The problem is lack of development. Congress led government got more than 60 years but development of the state is almost ZERO.Government after Government changed locally and centrally, but Kashmir never came in mainstream in any walks of life. Never in cricket, football, big screen, small screen, reality show, Asian games, in army, CRPF, bureaucratic government service like IAS,  presence of Kashmir is meager peanut. In north eastern sector , we known that Assam had developmental hazards and youths took the refuge of arms in 1978 and struggled against governments different attitude for years under the banner of ULFA demanding sovereignty. Whatever, the result of their battle, Assam could  at least successfully draw the eyes of mainland India towards them.of course, Assam has rich tea industry and and petroleum products that Kashmir lacks. But, the youth, of Kashmir, if they take a rebellious stand against the government of India to snatch their legitimate right of development , one should not find fault in them. Years together center's step brotherly attitude towards them had led towards this anguish.Poking of Pakistan outside and growing anguish inside is making the thing worse for the country. If this anguish is tried to douse forcefully by government than the mistake will draw the difference wider and will one day this may turn to inferno and may go out of our hand.

COMMON MEN.

I am a common man by force and not by my choice. Everyday I go out my wife keeps herself in anxiety that if I will come back safe and sound.I have lost many of my relatives in past due to no other fault of them for being a member of common men.I lost my grandfather at Nellie in Assam during 1983. I lost my brother at Delhi in 1984 and my brother-in-law at Godhra in 2002. I bade farewell to my nephew at Bombay in 1993 and my niece at Mumbai during 2008.So many of my near and dear one lost their valuable life not due to their any fault, but by default of being a citizen of this country and a common man.

I have seen the colour of death in my childhood when I was barely 4 years old. At Silchar Assam on infamous 19th May 1961, I first saw the colour of death, that is black.Everyday after that I died innumerable occasions, in different places  in this globe and reborn with pain of hope that ended with despairs.

I lost my child now at Kolkata and also at Kollam. My eyes do not have tears any more and eyeballs are dried up. I have watched the f**king politicians (who are actually between corpse of the prostitute and long tail of jackass) trying to take advantage of all situations depending upon their own political gain and I being the most idiot of the time always thought myself as owner of all wisdom in the earth, tried to weigh in the scale that who is a better politician and which is a better party to govern me, to anoint my festers who would be the best. In this way one day I saw, they have butchered me into small pieces, they minced my soft flesh in ideal pieces, comfortable for them to cook and at last they fall upon like hungry beast to taste the cuisine! What a cannibalism! Alas, tiger's flesh is not tigers prey, but MEN IS THE COMMON FOE OF MEN.

I carried my own corpse in the vicarage,it is me only who tore into pieces at morgue and I bade farewell to my mortal remains in misty eyes, because I am the common men. BECAUSE I AM A COMMON MEN.
