I have noticed in Times of India issue dated 12.04.2015 where it was shown true anxiety over yellow colour marks on Taj Mahal minarets. Archaeological Survey of India was asked to call experts to remove those patches as fast as possible. The heritage icon of 17th century standing tall near the dirty Jamuna river has already polluted the shrine.White marble has gradually turned into pale yellow since many years , but Government of Uttar Pradesh is perhaps more interested to fight for their dirty politics than to try and save this pride of the country before it is too late.I have certain suggestions towards the Government of Uttar Pradesh which may be useful to some extent to save this famous architecture;
i) Stop all commercial activities like eateries, food joints and other small retail activities within 10 km radius of the structure.
ii) Roads of Agra should be made smoking fee zone strictly.
iii) Roads of Agra in the vicinity of about 10 km radius of the structure should be free from Vehicle /traffic, so that the smoke of those vehicles should not hamper the structure.
iv) Citizen of Agra should be sensitized about the pride of there city by vigorous advertisement from Government/non-Government/NGO level.They should taught not to throw any filth in the river. None should be allowed to take deep or bath in the river Jamuna
v) Industrial unit irrespective of size both small and big should not be permitted to function Agra and its near by places.
vi) Lastly, Heavy monetary penalty to be taken from those who violates these strictures.
